Chittoor: Eight people were killed on Friday when an APSRTC bus traveling from Bengaluru collided with a truck, police said.
More than 33 people were injured in the accident at Mogili Ghat Road, Palamaneru Mandal, Chittoor District and are undergoing treatment at the Palamaneru Government Hospital.
As the Health condition of five people is critical, they were shifted to Chittoor Government Hospital for better treatment.
According to the police, the truck crossed the divider and hit the bus. The bus driver and seven others died on the spot in this accident.

On receiving the information, Chittoor District Collector Sumit Kumar, SP reached the spot and started rescue operations.
