Maharashtra: It is raining heavily in Maharashtra. Motorists are facing difficulties to travel due to water inundation on the roads in many areas. In the background of incessant rains… a big danger has been averted in Thane area. As on Friday morning, the huge hoarding collapsed. The people there ran aside in fear. A big danger has been averted. The incident took place at Sahajanand Chowk in Kalyan, Thane at around 10.18 am on Friday.

At the time of the hoarding, there will be heavy rain in the area. Motorists wait at a nearby shop as it rains. The vehicles were parked on the roadside and sheltered from the rain at the shop. At this time, the huge hoarding on the building suddenly collapsed. It fell on the auto there and on the parked vehicles. Part of the hoarding fell on the auto. There were also passengers in that auto. However, the size of the hoarding is large but the weight is light, so the passengers in the auto are not at risk. At the same time, a passing student narrowly escaped death. When the hoarding fell, many people who were there sustained minor injuries. However, there was no loss of life in the incident. Thane officials said that many vehicles were destroyed.

It is known that in March of this year, a huge hoarding collapsed at Ghat Core in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, killing around 17 people. Motorists are waiting by the petrol station to avoid getting wet due to untimely rain. A hoarding weighing about 250 tons collapsed on the petrol station due to heavy gusts of wind. Around 100 people got trapped under the hoarding. 14 people were injured.
