Kuwait Fire Incident: There was a huge fire incident in the Gulf country of Kuwait. A fire suddenly broke out in an apartment in Mangaf city. Within moments, the fire spread throughout the apartment. On the other hand, thick smoke consumed the entire building. 41 people got caught in the fire and were burnt alive. More than 40 people were seriously injured. It seems that 10 Indians including five Kerala residents are among the dead. The death toll is likely to rise. Relief efforts are ongoing.

There were more than 160 people in that building at the time of the accident. They all went to Kuwait for Pottakooti. All the workers remained in the building as the accident occurred at 4.30 am Kuwait time. The Kuwaiti police said that many were caught in the fire and died. The police found that the fire broke out in the kitchen first and then spread to the rooms of the apartment. Most of the workers are living in the building that was affected by the accident.

”It is a 6 storied building belonging to a company. 160 people are living in it. There was a fire in the kitchen. All the people staying there are working in that company. Some jumped down from the 5th floor to save their lives from the fire. However, they died. 41 people died in the fire incident. 50 people are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Workers will be accommodated in the building where the fire occurred. There are many workers there. We could save many people. But unfortunately many people died due to suffocation due to thick smoke,” said local officials.

Officials have registered a case and are investigating the incident. Officials ordered to provide better treatment to those undergoing treatment in the hospital. On the other hand, the Indian government has inquired about this incident. It turned out to be very unfortunate. Condolences to the families of the deceased. The Kuwaiti Embassy requested the authorities to provide better medical treatment for the injured to speedy recovery.
