Amaravati: Rains are falling incessantly in many districts of Andhra Pradesh. A tragic incident took place in Nandyala district where a Middekuli woman (Women) died. Kurnool and Anantapur district are facing severe problems due to rains. Due to the flood on the highways, people are facing difficulties.

Rivers are flowing high due to heavy rains in Kooderu and Vidapanakallu mandals of Anantapuram district. Traffic between Penhulapadu, R. Kottala, Poliki, Gadekallu and villages has stopped. Due to the rain water flowing on the main roads, the commuters are facing serious problems. In many mandals, farmers are expressing concern as rain water stagnated in sugar and pomegranate fields. Due to heavy rains, streams and bends are overflowing in Kurnool district.
Mantralayam Government High School ground is turning into a pond due to heavy rains. Acknowledging the difficulties of the devotees due to heavy rain, the presiding officer of the Mantralayam, Subudendu Tirthulu, provided shelter in the Math. The culvert of the road leading to Devarabetta in Kosigi Mandal was cut off and traffic to many villages was stopped. Flood entered the Topi Maremmavva temple in Amritapuram, Halaharvi mandal.
A woman named Middekuli Maddamma (50) died in Ammavari Shala street in Velugodu town of Nandyala district. Two others were seriously injured in the incident. The injured were taken to hospital for treatment. Due to incessant rains in Paderu Agency of Alluri district for two days, many areas in the agency (AGency Areas) have been flooded. On the way to Panchayats from Lakshmipuram, Bungaputtu and Munchangiputtu mandals, the soil overflows.
