Hyderabad Metro: Minister KTR made a key announcement in the Assembly on the expansion of Hyderabad Metro. It has been revealed that the third phase of metro expansion will be from Lakdikapool to BHEL. He said that Hyderabad Metro is 60 km long and they are constructing a metro from Raheja Park to Shamshabad Airport. He said that anyone can travel in the airport metro and funds have been allocated for the metro in the old city in this budget.

‘The central government is not showing even the least compassion towards Telangana. Funds have been allocated for Metro in the states of Mumbai, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu. The Center should also fund the Hyderabad Metro in Telangana. But the Center is not giving a single penny to Metro in Telangana. Nothing has been given so far. We will think about extending the Metro to Ramoji Film City. The Center is acting with a grudge against Telangana. I don’t mind at least if I send proposals. KTR stated in the Assembly that the Center is dealing with the people of Telangana in a factional way.

‘If Congress was given power for 50 years, what would they do? Congress leaders are saying that they will come to power in 9 months. Babies come in 9 months. But Congress will not come to power. We are giving permission for building constructions with TS Bpass. Permissions as per rules. Two lakh 12 thousand 301 applications have been received for the regularization of buildings. KTR said that we will start a movement against the failures and anti-people decisions of the Centre.
