It went behind the trees near the houses and fell. After that, a large amount of black smoke spread into the air in the area where the plane crashed. City officials in Valinhos, near Vinhedo, said none of the passengers on board survived, only one house in a local condominium complex was damaged, and no residents were injured. The accident took place while the plane was on its way to the international airport in Sao Paulo.
A minute’s silence was requested for those who died in the accident. Airline Vopass said the plane, which took off from Cascavel in Paraná state to Sao Paulo’s main international airport, crashed in the town of Vinhedo, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) northwest of Sao Paulo.
All 62 passengers and crew died in the plane crash in Brazil according to the governor. No survivors!

The airline said it could not provide further information on what caused the PS-VPB registration plane to crash. Minutes after the accident, the São Paulo state fire brigade said it was moving seven crews to the crash site. The aircraft is listed by Flight Tracker as Flight Radar 24 ATR 72-500 Turboprop.
