The diver who recorded this amazing video went viral after posting it on Instagram. The video footage takes viewers into a magical world. A diver in an underwater wonderland is seen swimming next to a huge form of a whale. In the video, a diver named Lykko pauses the camera and swims closer to the whale’s majestic fin.

He posted the video on Instagram and captioned it, “Best moment of my life with the biggest animal on the blue whale.” The awe-inspiring incident between man and nature surprised the netizens. However, some were horrified by the video. Others are commenting in their own style.

“Probably one of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever seen in my entire life.. took my breath away” one user commented, “What if whales perceive the world upside down.. getting air is like touching the earth.. deep diving is like going into space? Another user said. “How dare divers do this?.. I’m scared to see this,” another user posted. Notably, blue whales are the largest animals to exist on Earth. Some whales are typically 33 meters (108 ft) long, weighing up to 180 metric tons (200 tons). The blue whale’s heart alone weighs about 400 pounds (180 kg).

Despite their massive size, they can swim at speeds of up to 30 kilometers per hour (19 miles per hour). Scientists estimate that blue whales can live for about 80 to 90 years. Blue whales are listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List.
