Chandrababu | CM Chandrababu Naidu has made key comments that he will bring a law similar to HYDRA in AP too. Budameru encroachments will be removed, he said. After inspecting the flooded areas in Vijayawada, Chandrababu spoke to the media at the Collectorate.

AP CM Chandrababu said that there are warnings of heavy rain forecast for Uttarandhra due to the effect of wind. Eleru Reservoir is likely to get a lot of flood.. There is a chance of landslides in the Visakhapatnam agency. He said that the authorities have been alerted in all the districts in the wake of heavy rains.

CM Chandrababu said that even on the eighth day in Vijayawada, the victims were still under flood water. They said that food and drinking water have been provided and vegetables have been distributed today as well. He said that 260 tankers are plying in the flooded areas and ration goods are being supplied through 1200 vehicles. It is stated that there is 0.51 TMC of water in the flood areas. He said that there is still a possibility of water in Budameru area. However, he clarified that there is no major problem for Vijayawada. He said that they are ready to face even if there is some trouble if Budameru swells again. It is mentioned that operation Budameru will be undertaken soon. He said that a strong law will be brought for the removal of encroachments.
