Chandrababu promised to provide green energy hub and job opportunities to the residents of Rayalaseema
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu It announced ambitious plans to make Rayalaseema a green energy hub, an initiative expected to create around 750,000 jobs through the development of solar and wind power. The CM made these comments in the Gram Sabha held at Puchkayalamada in Kurnool district.
During the speech, Naidu highlighted the achievements of his government, announcing a significant increase in pension amounts from the previous administration’s rates. Reiterating commitment to stable monthly salaries to employees, officials assured the attendees that pensions would be distributed individually from the first day of disbursement.
He criticized the opposition that the government under YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did not leave significant irrigation development in five years and the state exchequer was drained by inefficient policies. Elaborating on the infrastructure plans, Naidu announced the construction of a National highway between Kurnool and Bellary and setting up of a High Court bench in Kurnool. A new liquor policy was also discussed with the intention of allocating Rs. 100 crores for alcohol rehabilitation programmes.
Additionally, ahead of the Diwali festival, the CM promised free gas cylinder distribution to women, where three cylinders are provided every year. He stated that welfare services including pension distribution will continue even if there are no voluntary workers.
