Chief Minister YS Jagan participated in Dussehra Sharannavaratri celebrations on Indrakiladri in Vijayawada on Sunday. Visited Kanakadurgamma which was decorated with Sri Saraswati Devi. Silk cloths, turmeric and saffron were offered to Amma on behalf of the state government. CM Jagan left the camp office at 3 pm on Sunday and reached Indrakiladri. Chief Minister Jagan, who came in traditional attire, was welcomed at the temple by Vedic scholars with Purnakumbha.

Temple Sthanacharyas Vishnu Batla Shivprasad Sharma conducted Parivetham, and with Parivetham Dharana, the chief minister placed silk clothes, turmeric and saffron on his head and entered the temple. Goddess Sri Saraswati, who enters the antaralaya with mangal instruments and Vedic mantras and appears in the adornment of the Goddess, is presented in their name. Durga Prasad and other priests performed special pujas in the Antaralayam. Vedic scholars blessed CM Jagan in Ashirvachan mandapam and presented the picture of the goddess and prasadam.
