CM Siddaramaiah: Trial against Siddaramaiah in Muda layout case

Bangalore: Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah will be questioned in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) layout scam. Governor Thawarchand Gehlot has issued orders to investigate Siddaramaiah in the corruption case. In this background, a special cabinet meeting was arranged this evening. There are allegations that CM Siddaramaiah’s wife Parvathi was given an expensive plot in Muda Layout. Questions arose as to how she became the owner in the old layout. With Governor Gehlot giving clearance for investigation, there are chances of booking a case against Siddaramaiah. On the request of social workers Pradeep Kumar, TJ Abraham and Snemayi Krishna, orders were given for investigation. The Governor authorized an inquiry under Section 17 and Section 218 of the Indian Civil Protection Code.
