Eleru reservoir with a capacity of 24 tmc has already reached 21 tmc, if there is a flood in Eleru, to what extent will the flooded villages be affected..? A review was conducted on what precautions should be taken to prevent the loss. Since Sunday morning, he has conducted this review over the phone with several officers. In this context, officials of Irrigation, Revenue, Police, Agriculture, Panchayat Raj, Medical Health and Power departments have been ordered to be alert. Also, it is suggested to provide necessary relief measures to the people of Uppada area who are already suffering due to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the Kakinada District Collector explained the situation to the Deputy CM. He said that if the inflow to Eleru reservoir is 4 thousand cusecs in the morning, it is 8 thousand cusecs in the evening and it is expected to reach 10 thousand cusecs at night. In Pithapuram Constituency, Jagananna Colony, Surampeta Colony, Kolanka, Madapuram and Navakhandravada areas are likely to be affected by flood and the authorities are being alerted. On Monday, Pawan Kalyan will visit Kakinada and review with the officials at the Collectorate. It is reported that Eleru will be in the constituency and inspect the situation as there is a threat of flood.
