Tirupati double decker electric AC bus for the first time in AP will soon be available for passengers. This bus will be launched next Tuesday during CM Jagan’s visit.
Tirupati is a spiritual shrine. Tirupati is always crowded with devotees going to Tirumala. 70 thousand to 80 thousand people go from Tirupati to Tirumala every day. Some travel to Tirupati for hospitals and education. In this order, there are battery buses from Tirupati to many places. The government is taking steps to make another wonderful service available soon. Tirupati Electric Double Decker Bus is being made available with the initiative of Tirupati City Deputy Mayor Bhumana Abhinay.
This bus is manufactured by Ashok Leyland and Switch Company. An electric double-decker AC bus was purchased by spending more than Rs.2 crores. This bus has been prepared to travel a distance of 25 kilometers on a single charge. It can carry 65 passengers at a time. But officials brought a bus to Tirupati RTC bus stand. Tirupati Deputy Mayor Abhinay Reddy performed special pooja for this at Tathayagunta Gangamma temple. Later, they inspected the facilities in the bus. This bus will be launched at the hands of CM Jagan who will visit Tirupati next Tuesday.
Officials say that in the past, the roads of Tirupati were too narrow for autos to move around. Bhumana Abhinay Reddy said that now the double-decker bus has been driven experimentally. He said that Tirupati is developing in all ways with the blessings of Tirumala Srievaru, Srivari’s younger sister Gangamma. Bhumana Abhinay Reddy said that Tirupati will be the only city in India to have a double decker bus after Hyderabad. Based on the public response, the city administration will consider bringing more double buses depending on the needs in the future, he said.
