Five senior IPS officers have been promoted as DGPs

Five senior IPS officers working in Telangana have been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) by the state government. Officers Kothakota Srinivas Reddy, B Shivdhar Reddy, Abhilasha Bisht, Soumya Mishra and Shikha Goel have been promoted as DGPs.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Kothakota Srinivasa Reddy of 1994 batch, Intelligence in-charge B. Shivadhar Reddy, Telangana State Police Academy Director Abhilasha Bhisth, Jails DG Dr. Soumya Mishra and CID Chief Shikha Goyal are among those who did not get promoted. To this extent, the Chief Secretary of the Government, Shanti Kumari, has released Jio.
