Full support of the government in national development: MLA Arani Srinivasulu

Tirupati: City MLA Arani Srinivasulu said that the state has now achieved real freedom and appealed to the people to support the government to take them on the path of progress.

On Thursday, he hoisted the national flag in different parts of the city. The Independence Day celebrations were held at Sri Padmavati Mahila Vishwavidyalayam in the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. Uma Vanem, Prof. N. Rajini, Chancellor, Dean, non-faculty and students.

Speaking at the SPDCL headquarters, Chairman and Managing Director Santosh Rao urged people to realize the aspirations of great leaders who fought for freedom and made progress.

SPDCL will provide electricity to 11.93 million farmers for nine hours. On the 78th Independence Day, city-based NGO RASS (Rastriya Seva Samiti) distributed sewing machines to women, scholarships to students and tricycles to people with disabilities.

Mr. Saravana, Manager of Canara Bank was present as the guest of honor. I-Day was also observed at SV University, SVIMS, BIRD, Ruia Hospital, Task Force Office, TDP Parliamentary Office and BJP Office. To mark the occasion, the employees were presented with commemorative gifts and plaques.
