Ganesh festivals should be celebrated peacefully

City Bureau, August 17 (Namaste Telangana): Hyderabad in-charge minister Ponnam Prabhakar has ordered the officials of the respective departments to take measures to ensure that the Ganesh festival to be held from 7th to 17th of next month is peaceful and everyone should work in coordination. A coordination meeting of government departments on Ganesh festival – 2024 was held at the Integrated Command Control Center on Saturday.

The Minister suggested that Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations should be held in a peaceful atmosphere and everyone should work responsibly. The minister said that a meeting will be arranged at MCR HRD with public representatives and members of the Ganesh festival committee in the next week. He said that a meeting was held to coordinate between the departments so that there would be no problems during the Ganesh festival. He said that there will be no problems in the routes from the area where the idols are made to the idols going to other districts.

The Minister instructed the authorities to ensure that the areas where Shobhayatra is held are pothole free and there are no power problems. He said that no matter how many measures the government takes, people’s cooperation should be there and after Bombay, Ganesh celebrations will be celebrated in Hyderabad. He said that the subject of immersion will be taken forward as per the orders of the court.

The Minister said that lakhs of clay idols will be distributed by NGO organizations that protect the environment. GHMC Commissioner Amrapali, Police Commissioner K. Srinivas Reddy, HMDA Commissioner Sarparaj Ahmed, District Collector Anudeep Durishetti, Water Board MD Ashok Reddy, Additional Commissioner Traffic Vishwa Prasad and officials of respective departments participated in the meeting.

Efforts to strengthen the education sector

Karwan Kulsumpura Primary and High School was visited by Transport Minister, Hyderabad In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar Goud on Saturday. Are the facilities and books provided to the students? On this occasion, the minister said that 30 thousand teachers have been promoted in the state.
