Gaza, August 14: With the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine for the past ten months, a severe crisis has arisen in Gaza, Palestine. All goods are in short supply in Gaza as Israeli forces freeze transport systems to Gaza. People here are not getting even the basic necessities. Water shortage is bothering. Garbage collection and sewage treatment are not done properly. Even girls and women are suffering from lack of shampoos, soaps, combs and items needed during menstruation. Doctors are worried that there is a risk of getting sick and infected in this background. Pediatrician Dr. Lobna Al Azizah suggested that girls in Gaza should cut their hair if they don’t even have combs. She said that people living in camps are getting rashes and fungal infections.
