Tirupati Times, National Bureau: The BJP released the first list of 67 candidates for the Haryana assembly elections on Wednesday. The name of CM Nayab Singh Saini is also included in this list. He has been allotted Ladwa Assembly ticket. Nayab Singh Saini was the Kurukshetra MP during Manoharlal Khattar’s tenure as CM. However, in March this year, the BJP high command gave him the opportunity to become the CM. Next, Nayab Singh Saini won the by-election to the Karnal Assembly seat in June. It is noteworthy that he has now been allotted a Ladwa ticket.
Former Minister Anil Vij has been given another chance from Ambala Cantonment seat. Since 2009, he has won from there three times in a row. Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta was fielded from Panchkula’s seat. Kuldeep Bishnoi’s son Bhavya Bishnoi has been given a chance to contest from Adampur and Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh’s daughter Aarti Singh has been given an opportunity to contest from Ateli. Meanwhile, Haryana has a total of 90 assembly seats.
