HCL Cyclothon will start in Hyderabad with a prize of 33.6 lakhs
Hyderabad: Making its debut in Telangana, the HCL Cyclothon will be held on December 15 for the cycling enthusiasts and local community of Hyderabad city.
The event is organized in collaboration with Telangana Government and under the auspices of Cycling Federation of India Rs. 33.6 lakh is planned with a winner’s prize purse, the highest offered in cycling races across India. Registrations are open till November 30 and interested participants can get details at www.hclcyclothon.com.
Hyderabad has made remarkable strides in promoting cycling as a sustainable mode of transport, setting a new benchmark with its first Solar Roof Cycling Track. The solar roof will not only power the track but also contribute to a greener future, reinforcing the city’s commitment to active mobility and environmental sustainability, a press release said.
The arrival of HCL Cyclothon in Hyderabad has given impetus to the idea of the city becoming a model for safe and green urban living. Participation will be divided into three key categories: Professionals, Enthusiasts and Green Ride.
