The rain started at 11 o’clock on Wednesday night and continued till 3 o’clock in the morning. Due to this, the low-lying areas were completely submerged. During the night, there was heavy rain in Uppal, Mallepally, Patabasti, Madapur, Borabanda, Yusuf Guda, Jubilee Hills, Ameer Pate, Dhul Pate, Kondapur, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Secunderabad, Kompally, Sarur Nagar Nagar. The canals are overflowing due to continuous rain for three hours. Weather officials have suggested that there is a possibility of heavy rain in the city today as well.
