Hyderabad: RMP’s wife killed in Yousafguda; Registration of case
Hyderabad: The wife of a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) was murdered at her home in Yousafguda on Monday evening, September 30.
Sudha Rani (44) was stabbed with a sharp weapon.
According to Jubilee Hills police, RMP doctor Lakshminarayan is living with his family at Navodaya Colony in Yusufguda. On the evening of the incident, Lakshminarayana was at her clinic in Yallareddyguda while their two children were going for tuition.
On returning home, the children saw their mother lying in a pool of blood and immediately informed their father. Lakshminarayana reached home and lodged a complaint with the police.
Jubilee Hills ACP Venkatagiri, Inspector Venkateswara Reddy and forensic experts reached immediately. Sudharani was found dead when the police reached the spot.
Police have registered a case and are investigating. As the reasons for the murder are still unknown, the police are examining the CCTV footage and collecting details from the children.
The police said that the complete details will be known soon after the investigation.
