Hyderabad: Swachhta Hi Seva Swachhta campaign has started in EFLU
Hyderabad: Swachhta Hi Seva 2024, a major cleanliness campaign was launched at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) here on Saturday.
EFLU has planned various programs in the university from September 14 to October 1 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
The University organizes programs to create public awareness on cleanliness in the campus and semi-urban areas close to the University.
The university collaborates with the local people nearby in undertaking environmental cleanliness drives and also organizes Health check-up camps.
Faculty, students and non-teaching staff took the cleanliness pledge and joined the cleanliness walkathon and planted saplings in the campus as part of “Ekped Ma Ke Naam”.
Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. T Samson, Registrar Prof. K. Narasimha Rao, Dean of Campus Planning and Development, Prof. Srivani and other senior faculty led the walkathon in the campus.
