ICC Player of the Month: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the details of the players nominated for the Player of the Month award for the month of July. Three players have been nominated from Team India. There are two female cricketers and one male cricketer.

ICC has selected the short list of players who did not perform at their best in the month of July. It has shortlisted three in men’s cricket and three in women’s cricket. Washington Sundar has been nominated from Team India in men’s cricket. Along with him, England pacer Gus Atkinson and Scotland bowler Charlie Cassell will compete for the Player of the Month award.

Washington Sundar: In the five-match T20 series against Zimbabwe in July, Sundar took eight wickets and became the Player of the Series. He is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka. Gus Atkinson: England’s Gus Atkinson made his debut in the Test series against West Indies. In this series of three matches, he took 22 wickets and showed his ability.

Chamari Atapattu: Scored 204 runs in Asia Cup at an average of 101.33. Played a key role in the victory over India in the final match.
