New Delhi: India’s Paralympic heroes Sumit Antil and Nishad Kumar were honored by Adidas India during the homecoming event organized for the duo at DLF Promenade Mall in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi on Monday. The event celebrated their triumphant return at the Paris Paralympics 2024 after Sumit defended his gold medal in the men’s javelin throw F64 category, while Nishad retained his silver medal in the high jump T47 category.

The objective of the event was to support the development of Sports at all levels in India, with a particular focus on nurturing future athletes. Many young para-athletes were invited to the event, where they had meaningful interactions with their Paralympic heroes. Neelendra Singh, GM, Adidas India, conducted an engaging session where both the athletes shared their individual journeys and the challenges they faced in representing India at the global level.
