Iranian President Massoud Pezheshkian warns Israel after missile attack: ‘Let Netanyahu know…’
In the wake of the recent Iranian missile attack on Israel, Iranian President Massoud Pezheshkian issued a stern warning on his official X account. In response to what he called the missile strikes “aggression of the Zionist regime,” he said, “Based on legitimate rights and with the goal of peace and security for Iran and the region, a decisive response has been given.”
Pezeshkian declared that the measures were taken to protect Iran’s interests and civilians, urging Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to recognize Iran’s position. “Let Netanyahu know that Iran is not a belligerent country, but it will stand firm against any threat. This is only one source of our strength. Do not engage in confrontation with Iran,” he warned.

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei also commented on the situation, asserting that “with God’s help, the blows of the rebel front against the worn and rotten body of the Zionist regime will become stronger and more painful.”

The missile strikes came in direct response to Israeli military operations in Lebanon and targeted assassinations of key Iran-backed figures, including Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Iran has publicly blamed Israel for the attacks, exacerbating the already fraught relationship between the two countries.
Reports indicate that explosions were heard over Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, a key commercial hub for Israel, was also targeted by the missile barrage. As the situation escalates, both countries are on high alert, with the possibility of further escalation high.
