Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is in trouble. The film got into trouble after serving a legal notice to the producers and actors. Former Congress leader Acharya Pramod said that the film has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. According to an ANI report, he said that the film is against the scriptures. He also served notices to the producers, Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas.
Acharya Pramod said.. “India is a land of emotions, faith and devotion. The values of Sanatana Dharma should not be tampered with. Sanatana scriptures should not be changed. Lord Kalki Narayana is at the center of our faith. People believe in Kalki as the last incarnation of Lord Vishnu.” “A lot has been written about the incarnation of Kalki in Puranas. Based on this, Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone of Sri Kalki Dham on February 19,” he said.
He further said.. This movie is contrary to what is explained in our religious books. The movie is supposed to hurt our religious sentiments. That is why we have identified some objections and are waiting for the response. Playing with the sentiments of Hindus has become a pastime for filmmakers. He said that if saints are portrayed as demons, then you are playing with our faith.
Acharya Pramod’s legal notice was sent by Supreme Court of India advocate Ujwal Anand Sharma. The notice read, “Your film has changed the basic concept of Lord Kalki from what is written and described in Hindu mythology. For the reasons stated, the depiction and depiction of the story of God Kalki is completely inaccurate. These sacred texts, which are central to the religious beliefs and practices of hundreds of crores of devotees, have been blatantly disrespected.”
“Such a description has already led to confusion. In the hearts and minds of devout Hindus, the mythology of God Kalki, ethics has an irreversible tendency to misunderstand, misinterpret, and further degrade the Hindu faith. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a sci-fi action adventure written and directed by Nag Ashwin. The mega budget film is a blend of science fiction and Indian mythology. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are playing the lead roles while Shobhana, Pashupathi, Swartha Chatterjee, Anna Ben, Disha Patani and Brahmanandam are playing supporting roles. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies with a huge budget of Rs 600 crores.
