Kapil Sharma finally solves the mystery of Karan Johar’s loneliness

Mumbai: Bollywood multi-hyphenate Karan Johar, who last directed the romantic comedy ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, has opened up about his relationship woes.

On Saturday, the trailer of the second season of the streaming comedy sketch show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ was unveiled and it shows KJo as part of the line-up, which also includes Alia Bhatt, Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, NTR. Jr., Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Incidentally, Karan has his own chat show, ‘Koffee with Karan’, which is much older and popular than Kapil’s show. On his chat show’s popular sofa, Karan has created or ‘manifested’ several love stories from B-Town including Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif and Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra.

But KJo himself did not enjoy constant companionship. He also talked about the same in the trailer of Kapil Show. In the trailer, KJo is shown saying, “Bahut logo’n ka rishta maine age badya hai lekin dekho main khud single hoon (I have helped many love stories come to fruition but look at me, I am single)”.

To this, Kapil said, “Halwai khud apni mithayan nahi khata”, making KJo laugh.

KJo has been romantically linked to a few people in the past. However, he has not been involved in a long-term relationship with anyone so far. In 2016, he welcomed his two children, Yash and Ruhi, through surrogacy.

‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ Season 2 promises to celebrate India and its rich culture with the country’s superstars. This season will also feature T20 World Cup winners, exceptional charades and stunning Bollywood wives.
