It has been announced that Karan Bhushan Singh is contesting from Kaisarganj seat in Uttar Pradesh. Dinesh Pratap Singh was fielded from Rae Bareli. Brijbhushan has represented the Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat for three consecutive terms. He won the 2019 elections with a majority of 2 lakhs. However, it is known that top wrestlers protested against him in January last year, alleging sexual harassment. Since then Brijbhushan’s name has been in the news. In this order, he withdrew from the wrestling federation and put an end to sports politics. But Karan Bhushan won from that position.
