Meteorological department has issued orange and yellow alert
Khammam, September 4 (Namaste Telangana representative): Flood woes are not over for the people of Munneru catchment areas of Khammam district. All the things in the house have been washed away and the house is full of mud, but they are cleaning the houses with endless agony. All the colonies are engulfed in darkness.
They are facing many difficulties due to lack of government assistance. CM Revanth Reddy has not received Rs.10,000 aid. Tankers are coming into the main streets but not going into the inner areas and narrow alleys. Due to this, the four days of mud in flooded areas such as Ganeshnagar, Manikyanagar, Bokkalagadda, Motinagar and other areas did not end.

The local flood victims have alleged that the government is providing 10 kg of rice and other essential commodities, but the Congress leaders are giving them only to those who are favorable to them. Officials are going to victims’ homes and collecting their bank account details to provide compensation. Medical camps have been set up in some areas. The owners of the mud-slicked vehicles are moving them to sheds for repairs. As the trucks parked on the FCI road got muddy, they were parked there and being repaired by mechanics.

Namely three ministers
There are three ministers in the district. They are of no use. Didn’t officials tell ministers about heavy rains and floods? Why did the ministers ignore us? If there is a minister’s relative or family member in this area, would they do the same? During the elections, they said righteous words and got votes. We don’t even show when we are in trouble.

Live in the mud
The residents of Khammam, breathing a sigh of relief as the rains cleared up a little, were seen cleaning the mud and garbage that had entered their houses on Wednesday. Even though the water has receded, the streets still look muddy

Roads are not cleaned
Even though it has been four days since the flood receded, the roads have not been cleaned yet. The then Minister Ajay Kumar visited the flooded areas during the flood. He was also with us during the flood. They ate with us in the rehabilitation centers. None of the current leaders can do that.

We are in the dark
We have been in the dark for 4 days. The authorities are not good for our area. There are no leaders to stand by. Some people come after everything is over and pose for photos. The aid of Rs.10,000 that the Chief Minister will give has not yet been given. Goods will be given. They are also given to few people.

KCR saved in Nirudu floods
KCR saved Nirudu when it was flooded. We were able to save our belongings as we were forewarned of the floods. That is not the case this year. The government did not say that there will be floods. That is why we suffered so much.

What is ten thousand rupees?
Everything in our house was damaged. Several quintals of rice were wet and bruised. What is the Rs.10,000 given by the Chief Minister enough for? No gas was touched for four days. We are starving. At least there are no water dispensers.
