Lucknow airport | There is panic at Lucknow airport in Uttar Pradesh. Radioactive material caused a stir in the cargo area. Alerted by this, the officials immediately evacuated the area.
Officials conducted checks in the cargo area at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow on Saturday morning. The staff detected the radioactive material while scanning the medical consignment. The airport officials said that the alarm went off while scanning the container containing the cancer medicines. They said that they were alerted and evacuated the area and deployed NDRF. In a statement, it was revealed that there was no impact on flight operations due to this incident.
