Kuwait Building Fire: The huge fire incident in Kuwait filled the families of Indians with great sadness. 49 people died in this fire accident. 40 of them are Indians which is most tragic. Prime Minister Modi expressed shock at the death of 40 Indians in the fire. He expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased.
Wishing speedy recovery to those injured in the accident. Prime Minister Modi revealed that the Indian Embassy in Kuwait is closely monitoring the fire incident and its aftermath. Officials said that a high-level meeting is being held at Prime Minister Modi’s residence on the Kuwaiti agricultural accident.
“The fire that happened in Kuwait is very sad. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their near and dear ones. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait is closely monitoring the situation. Working with the authorities there to help the victims,” PM Modi tweeted.
A fire broke out in an apartment belonging to a company in Mangaf city. Within moments, the fire spread throughout the building. Thick smoke engulfed the building. As a result, the workers were trapped in the building. Up to 160 workers live in the 6-storey building. First, a fire broke out in a kitchen. The whole spread within minutes. As there was no way to escape, the workers got caught in the fire and were burnt alive. Many died due to suffocation due to thick smoke. Some jumped down from the building to save their lives. In this process they died of severe injuries.
