Minister Sridhar Babu introduced the Civil Law Bill.. Support of all parties

MLAs of all parties have declared their support for the Civil Law Bill introduced by Minister Sridhar Babu in the Telangana Legislative Assembly. Sridhar Babu said that this bill was brought for the sake of justice. He said that the investigation of crimes is already being conducted through 30 fast track courts in the state and they are making strong efforts to take strict action against the accused. Whoever tries to harm the reputation of the state in terms of peace and security will be dealt with strictly, he said.

Minister Sridhar Babu said that the government has allocated funds of Rs.1000 crore for the construction of a new high court in Telangana. It has already been revealed that Bhumi Pooja has been done for the construction of the new High Court building on 100 acres in Rajendranagar. He said that they are studying the changes and additions in the new laws introduced by the Centre. He said that the Agricultural University in Rajendranagar will be allocated another place and facilities will be provided for their agricultural research.

While supporting the Civil Court Amendment Bill, MLA Eleti Maheshwar Reddy made some suggestions. They want to increase fast track courts. He said that in the newly formed districts the courts do not have their own buildings and it is painful to hold courts in rented buildings. He said that there are no junior civil courts in the constituencies and if the cases are to be resolved quickly, junior civil courts should be increased. He said that the previous government had failed in the matter of courts. Eleti advised the government to correct the mistakes of the previous government.

KTR spoke during the debate on the Civil Courts Amendment Bill. The victims should be assured of speedy justice. The victims of cybercrime should get speedy justice. Vacant posts in cybercrime departments should be filled quickly. The state government wants to state its position on central laws. He said that it is not good to enact laws that take away the freedom of expression. They want everyone to work together in some matters and establish fast track courts for rape and cybercrime. KTR said that the rapists should be punished soon.
