President Draupadi Murmu praised the Telugu language. He said that Telugu literature is well known to all the people of the country and less is known in the national languages. The state government has organized a civil honor in Poranki for the President who came to the state of Andhra Pradesh for a two-day visit. Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan, CM Jagan, Union Minister Kishan Reddy and others honored the President.

After that, President Draupadi Murmu said that it is a blessing that Tirumala Balaji is coming to the holy place. He said that he is praying for the blessings of Vijayawada Kanakadurgamma. He said that he wants all the people to be happy and that God will surely fulfill his wish. The President praised the greatness of the Mahaneys of Andhra Pradesh. He said that AP plays a key role in the development of India. It is said that rivers like Krishna, Godavari, Vamsadhara and Nagavali have fertilized the soil of this state. As soon as the President said that he knows less in the language of the country, there was a loud applause from the guests.

Chief Minister Jagan said that a tribal woman assuming the post of President is a matter of pride for everyone. Murmu’s life, who faced difficulties with a smile, was praised as an example for everyone. He recalled that Murmu was the first woman in her village to study for a degree and started life as a junior assistant. As a sociologist and a democrat, she worked for the downtrodden sections of the people. CM Jagan said that it is our responsibility to honor Murmu, who came to the state for the first time as the President, and organized a civic honor program.
