NEET-UG 2024 Supreme Court Hearing : The Supreme Court has issued a complete verdict on the NEET UG paper leakage. The Supreme Court revealed that there was no systematic violation of paper leakage and the leakage of question papers was limited to Patna and Hazaribagh. In its order, the court said that the National Testing Agency as well as the Central Government should also take steps to prevent paper leakage incidents from happening again. In the verdict, the Supreme Court said that the committee set up by the Center will also examine the creation of SOP for technological advancements to further expand the cyber security, security flaws and CCTV monitoring of examination centers in the examination system.

The Supreme Court has made it clear that paper leakages should be tolerated for the betterment of the students. The Supreme Court has expanded the scope of the committee set up by the Center in response to the NEET controversy. The Supreme Court has directed a central committee to conduct a comprehensive review of the administrative processes of the National Testing Agency (NTA), not just exam security. The Supreme Court issued a detailed judgment that there was no systemic violation in the conduct of NEET-UG-2024 and, therefore, the request for re-conduct of the examination was rejected.
