Paris Olympics 2024: Swapnil wins bronze in shooting… India’s medal tally reaches three

Swapnil Kusale wins bronze medal : India got another medal in Paris Olympics. Young shooter Swapnil bagged the bronze medal. Swapnil finished third in men’s 50m rifle three position shooting. In this sequence, he created history as the athlete who gave India its first medal in the men’s 50m rifle three position event.

In Thursday’s final, Swapnil slowed down a bit in the beginning. At one stage he was between four and five positions. Finally, he finished third with 451.4 points. China’s Li Yukun won the gold with 463.6 points, while Ukraine’s Kulish Serhii took the silver with 461.3 points.

Swapnil’s bronze took India’s medal tally to three at the Paris Olympics. It is known that Manu Bhakar won bronze medals in women’s 10m air pistol individual category and Sarabjot – Manu Bhakar won bronze medals in 10m air pistol mixed team event.
