Telangana state is making good progress in the field of pharma. Another industrial hub is coming up on 2 thousand acres in Sangareddy district. Hyderabad, With the state government deciding to allow pharmaceutical industries away from residential areas, the Sangareddy district administration has asked the Telangana Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (TGIIC) to identify a suitable location. The district administration identified the site near Malgi, Dappur and Vaddi villages in Nyalkal mandal. The place is one kilometer from Karnataka border and 15 kilometers from Bidar town. 100 km from ORR at Patancheru.
Collector Sangareddy Vallur Kranti, TGIIC Patancheru Zonal Manager Rathan Rathore, Deputy Collectors Ravinder Reddy, Nagalakshmi, RDO Zaheerabad, Raju, Assistant Director (Survey and Land Records) Ilesh and others inspected the site. Officials said that 1,000 acres of government land is available and the revenue department will have to collect another 1,000 acres from local farmers. Officials said that 40 percent of the land will be developed as plots leaving facilities and infrastructure. The rest of the land will be allotted to the industries that want to set up their units here.
