Precaution taken in Ieeja town in wake of heavy rains

Gadwal: In the ongoing context Heavy rains Precautions have been taken to prevent any loss of life and property in the town during this rainy season. Earlier, 175 houses in 20 wards were found to be dilapidated. Notices have been issued to the owners of these houses advising them to take adequate precautions to avoid any accidents due to heavy rains.

As a part of these efforts today Mandal Tahsildar, Sub Inspector and local town public representatives made a field level inspection. In this inspection, 38 houses were found to be in extremely dangerous conditions. The residents of these houses have been shifted to a designated rehabilitation center in the Girls’ High School to ensure safety.

The administration is committed to ensure the safety of all residents this monsoon season and urges everyone to remain vigilant and cooperate with the authorities.
