With that, Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who is one of the co-owners of Punjab, approached the High Court. Preeti had requested the court to restrain a promoter from selling his stake in the Punjab Kings franchise. So, what happened to Asulu? Fans are showing interest in this matter.
A company called KPH Dream Cricket Private Ltd promotes Punjab Kings. The company is owned by four people including Preity Zinta. While Preeti has 25 percent shares, promoter Mohit Burman has the highest 48 percent shares. Burman is currently trying to sell his stake. However.. according to Article 19 of the international treaties a person in a group should inform the members of the group before selling his shares. If the people in the group raise their hands that it is not ours, then others have the flexibility to sell it. Moreover, the sale of shares has a fixed time limit. Preeti has mentioned the same thing in the court complaint.
However, Burman said that he is not preparing to sell any shares. Preeti (27 per cent), Burman (48 per cent) and Ness Wadia (23 per cent) have the most shares in the KPH Dream Cricket Private Limited company. The remaining six percent shares are in the name of Karan Paul.
