Sachin Sarjerao Khilari: Sachin Khilari who won silver medal in shot put
Paris: India won another medal in the Para Olympics. World champion Sachin Sarjerao Khilari won the silver medal in men’s shot put F46 category. He threw a distance of 16.32 meters. This is India’s 11th medal in Paris track and field, overall India has won 21 medals in Paralympics so far. Sachin threw the shot put 14.72, 16.32, 16.15, 16.31, 16.03 in his attempts. Yasir and Rohit, who competed in the same event from India, were eliminated. Sachin threw just 0.06 meters less than the gold medalist. This is the first time India has won a medal in shot put in 30 years of Paralympics.
