Peninsula Restaurant Staff Maxime Manneve responded to Serena Williams’ post. ‘Serena came with a stroller. Only two tables were empty at that time. They are also reserved. I wasn’t there when Serena arrived. This problem arose because our staff could not recognize Serena. He answered her as he told other clients. He advised us to wait at the bar until the table becomes vacant,’ says Maxim.

Our rooftop bar was fully booked on 5th August. Even though two tables were empty, they were reserved. We said that we will allocate a table for Serena elsewhere.
