SSLV-D3 | Another successful launch by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). On Friday morning, SSLV-D3 Rocket (SSLV-D3 Rocket) was launched from Sriharikota (Shar) in Nellore district to Ningi. The carrier launched into Ninggi from the first launch pad in Shor. Through this launch, the Evos-08 satellite was successfully launched into orbit.
ISRO has undertaken this launch as part of its mission to develop small satellites and design suitable payload devices. The objective of this mission is to launch the ‘Earth Observation Satellite’ EOS-08 (EOS-08 mission) into low Earth orbit. After almost 6 months, this is the rocket launch being carried out by ISRO. A former ISRO scientist said that the SSLV-D3 rocket would be possible to put small satellites into Earth orbit at low cost with a planning time of just two days.
The 175 kg EOS-08 satellite was successfully launched into orbit through this launch. This satellite will be useful for providing information in disaster management. It will monitor environment, natural disasters and volcanoes. Evos was developed at UR Rao Satellite Center of ISRO. Its Electro Optical Infrared (EoIR) payload captures images in the mid-wave and long-wave infrared. ISRO claims that this information will be useful in disaster management.
