City dwellers are angry about non-cooperation in development
For the past ten years, the Center has been keeping a close eye on the city of Hyderabad, which is one of the major metro cities in the country. Although no funds were given in the recently introduced budget, in the recently held central cabinet meeting, Telangana has shown its stubbornness in the matter of metro rail. Ignoring Hyderabad… it has allocated huge funds for three metro rail projects in the country. The residents of the city are questioning why Chote Bai (CM Revanth Reddy) has not spoken a single word in this matter when Prime Minister Modi used to say ‘Na Bade Bai’. Even though 8 BJP MPs are representing from Telangana, they are angry that the Center is not cooperating with the development of the state.
City Bureau, August 17 (Namaste Telangana): The central government, which did not provide funds to the state in the recently introduced central budget, took a decision in the central cabinet meeting held on Friday by allocating huge funds to three metro rail projects in the country. This is a direct proof that the Center is looking down on Hyderabad, which is one of the fastest growing metro cities. The previous BRS government ignored proposals for the second phase of metro works in the city. It is noteworthy that even though CM Revanth Reddy has put the second phase of metro project before the center, it has shown zero results.

Blessings to Maharashtra before the elections.
Maharashtra is currently ruled by a BJP-backed government. The Union Cabinet has approved the allocation of funds for two metro rail projects in the background of Assembly elections to be held soon. In this, Rs. 12200.00 crores for Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project, Rs. 2954.53 crores has been allotted. In addition to this, the Union Cabinet has approved Rs.15,611 crores for Phase-3 of the Bengaluru Metro Rail Project in the state of Karnataka, which is adjacent to Telangana. In this way, three metro rail projects in two states on both sides of Telangana have been approved for a total of Rs 30,765 crore. But the central government has been insisting on Hyderabad metro rail projects for decades.

In Hyderabad city, the previous BRS government submitted the complete details of the BHEL-Lakdikapool Metro project to the Centre. The 23 km long road will cost about Rs.8500 crores, but the government of Narendra Modi did not pay any attention to the approval and allocation of funds. In the newly formed Congress government in Telangana, CM Revanth Reddy has repeatedly appealed to the Center to cooperate in the construction of the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro. However, the name of Hyderabad Metro was not mentioned. Even though there are 8 BJP MPs from Telangana, there are criticisms that the Center is not cooperating at all for the development of the state.
