Telangana: RTC offers 10% discount on bus hire
Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has announced a special 10 percent discount on base hire charges for buses on contract booked for weddings, family occasions, parties etc. This discount is applicable only on hired buses till 31st December.
In the past, RTC has given concessions to hired or contract buses during Kartika month, Vanabhojanam and Sabarimala Ayyappa Darshan.
RTC officials said that in view of the upcoming festivals and wedding season, the field level officials have suggested to provide 10 percent discount.
TGSRTC said that this concession has been provided to avoid any inconvenience to the people during the auspicious events.
Corporation buses are being rented out at much cheaper rates than private vehicles and are providing facility without advance cash deposit.
