Jaipur: There is a tense atmosphere in Rajasthan’s Udaipur. A Class 10 student of a government school was brutally stabbed by a classmate on Friday. The injured student was taken to the hospital and is being treated. The accused was arrested by the police. His house was demolished with a bulldozer. Communal tensions erupted as the incident got out. Hindu organizations staged protests.
Udaipur District Collector Arvind Poswal said that all government and private schools in the district have been ordered to remain closed until further orders. According to the instructions of CM Bhajanlal Sharma, a team of three doctors has reached Udaipur from Jaipur to treat the injured student. Divisional Commissioner Rajendra Bhat ordered to stop mobile internet services in many areas from 10 pm on Friday for 24 hours.

New Delhi, August 17: Congress MP KC Venugopal has been appointed as the Chairman of Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC). The Lok Sabha Secretariat has issued a bulletin stating that BJP MP Sanjay Jaishwal has been appointed as the Chairman of the Estimates Committee and Baijayant Pandalu as the Chairman of the Public Undertakings Committee.
Along with these three committees, standing committees have also been formed for many departments and divisions. The OBC welfare committee will be headed by BJP MP Ganesh Singh and the SC and ST welfare committee will be headed by MP Faggan Singh Kulaste of the same party. The members of these committees are members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
