Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that Warangal Rythu Declaration has been announced on 6th May 2022 that the farmer should be happy. He said in the program of release of funds for the second installment of farmers’ loan waiver, he congratulated the participants of this program regardless of the parties that the benefit of the farmer is important, not the political benefit. He said that the previous government could not even complete the loan waiver of Rs.25 thousand crores in four installments for 60 months.
Some talked about how the Telangana government, which is stuck in debt, will waive the debt. We have made plans to waive the loan under any circumstances.. We have collected funds. After raising funds, today in the second installment of Rs. 6,198 crores, we are making good for six and a half lakh people.. This is our sincerity, this is our commitment.
Nehru brought the green revolution. The Congress government of that day went ahead with the slogan of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan. Indiramma nationalized banks to provide low interest loans to poor farmers. The Food Security Act was brought under the leadership of Soniamma. On that day Congress waived off Rs. 72 thousand crores of loans and supported the farmers in the country. Then .. now it is said that Congress is always biased towards farmers.
Within a month, we have waived the farmer’s loan up to 1.5 lakhs and proved our sincerity. He said that the loan waiver of Rs.2 lakh will be completed by August and the farmers will be freed from their debts. July and August are the months to be written in history. He said that in the history of the country, Telangana government has created a record of farmer loan waiver. No state in independent India has so far waived farmers’ loans on such a large scale. He said that the finance minister has paid interest of Rs. 43 thousand crores in these six months for the debts incurred by the previous BRS government. Finance Minister, who collected 12 thousand crores for loan waiver within 12 days, concluded by appreciating their staff.
