Some other students helped them. A young man is heard shouting for the students to hurry up. He asked if there was anyone else inside. Some students got out of the water quickly and saved their lives. Three people who stayed there lost their lives.

Netizens say strict action should be taken against those who study with students in the cellar against the law. Rahul Gandhi also reacted to this video and criticized it severely. The Delhi Police, who are investigating the death of the students, have issued notices to the MCD authorities. The officials will be questioned by the Delhi Police.

MCD officials seized 13 libraries and coaching centers located in cellars in Rajendra Nagar due to the agitation of UPSC students. Abhishek Gupta, the owner of Rao’s IAS Study Center, and the coordinator, Despal Singh, were arrested. Abhishek Gupta Despal Singh was sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the court.
