Osmania University, August 17: A fatal road accident took place in Habsiguda. A 10th class student was killed when a speeding lorry rammed into a parked car. According to the police, Ranga Gopinath Goud’s daughter Satvika (15), a resident of Kimti Colony in Tarnaka, is studying in class 10 at Gautam Model School in Habsiguda. She left for school in an auto like on Saturday.

As the Habsiguda signal approached, the bus in front stopped and the driver behind it stopped the auto. Meanwhile, the speeding lorry hit the auto. As a result, the auto crashed under the bus. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and pulled out the auto with the help of a crane. Satvika and the driver Ellaiah were taken to a nearby hospital. Satvika died while undergoing treatment.

State Auto Union President Vemula Maraiah visited the auto driver who was injured in the accident at Habsiguda. Police should take action against heavy vehicles entering the city without permission. They demanded that the government should stand by the family of the deceased student.

Home Minister to appoint: BSM Auto Transport Association

Ravi Shankar, the leaders of the BSM auto transport association, accused the police of negligence because the home minister was not appointed. Heavy vehicles are not allowed in Hyderabad during school hours. They demanded legal action against the truck owner. He asked to support the families of the student and the auto driver financially.
