The tragic incident took place in Goudavelli village of Medchal district. The death of a father along with two daughters in the same house cast a pall over the village. A father and two daughters were killed on the spot after being hit by a train at Gaudavelli railway station on Sunday. Krishna, who hails from Raghavendra Nagar Colony in Medchal town, is working as a railway track checker at the railway station in Goudavelli. As it was Sunday, he took his two daughters and came to duty. Krishna was working while his daughters were playing on the railway tracks when a train came speeding towards them.
Seeing the train, Krishna tried to save his two daughters. At the same time, the train hit the three people as it was coming fast. They died on the spot. Locals say that the name of the dead daughters is Varshita and Varini. The police reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to the government hospital for post-mortem. After the death of the father’s two daughters, the cries of the relatives and family members deeply touched the hearts of those present.
