Tragedy in Visakhapatnam on the occasion of festival.. Three-storied building collapsed.. Three killed

Tragedy took place in Visakhapatnam on the eve of Ugadi festival, the Telugu anniversary. A three storied building in Ramajogipet near the Collectorate collapsed. Three people died in this incident. Five others were seriously injured. They have been shifted to the hospital and are being treated.

A three-storied building collapsed at two o’clock in the morning on Thursday. Everyone was fast asleep at that time. In this incident, 14-year-old Saketi Anjali, her brother Durgaprasad (17) and Chothu (27) from Bihar state died. Kommishetti Sivashankar, Saketi Rama Rao, Saketi Kalyani, Sunnapu Krishna and Satika Rojarani were seriously injured.

Immediately after receiving the information that the building has collapsed, the police and rescue personnel reached the spot and started rescue operations. The injured have been shifted to KGH Hospital and are being treated. Suspecting that someone may still be trapped under the debris, rescue operations are continuing. Deceased Saketi Anjali celebrated her birthday yesterday (Wednesday). She lost her life.
