TTD EO | Steps should be taken to modernize the hostels in Tirumala: TTD evo

Tirumala: TTD EO J Shyamala Rao (TTD EO), Additional EO CH Venkaiah Chaudhary and CVSVO Sridhar inspected Saptagiri Sattras and CRO office in Tirumala on Saturday. Dormitory rooms were inspected at Saptagiri Inns and cleanliness in corridors, bathrooms, switchboards, water supply, mattresses, beds and bedsheets were checked.

The concerned officials were advised to take immediate steps to modernize the rooms. The officials were directed to keep the surroundings clean and take up deep cleaning. Talked to the Pilgrims and examined the process of allotment of rooms at the counters. Later, they examined the process of allotment of rooms to the devotees at the central reception office.

Besides inspecting the electronic display board and information kiosks, Evo spoke to the devotees from Karnataka and Kallakurichi. For the convenience of the devotees, the concerned authorities were directed to display the information about the availability of rooms in Tirumala from time to time.
